Founded in 2010, Rishikul Yogshala Rishikesh is a traditional yoga school located in Rishikesh, India, at the foothills of the Himalayas and near the sacred Ganga River. Over the years, more than 25,000 students from India and around the world have completed their yoga studies with us.

Rishikul Yogshala is registered under the Society Act with the Government of India and is recognized by Yoga Alliance USA, Yoga Alliance International, and the Rishikesh Yoga Association.

Our aim is to share the authentic teachings of yoga while helping students develop a deeper understanding of yoga as a practice, philosophy, and way of life. Our programs combine traditional yogic knowledge with structured teaching methodology, allowing students to develop both personally and professionally.

Yoga Teacher Training Programs

We offer 100, 200, 300, and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training programs, designed for students at different stages of their yoga journey. Our programs are residential and include accommodation, yogic meals, study materials, practical training, and certification.

The curriculum includes Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, alignment and adjustments, teaching methodology, mantras, mudras, Yoga Nidra, and yogic lifestyle.

Our 200-hour program provides a strong foundation for those beginning their journey as yoga teachers, while the 300-hour program allows experienced practitioners who have completed a 200-hour training to deepen their knowledge. The 500-hour program offers a more comprehensive path by combining the 200- and 300-hour levels.

At Rishikul Yogshala, we believe yoga is not limited to physical postures. It is a holistic journey involving the body, breath, mind, awareness and inner growth.

Students have the opportunity to experience the unique spiritual atmosphere of Rishikesh, practice beside the Ganga, explore India's yogic traditions, and connect with an international community of fellow practitioners.

Alongside our Yoga Teacher Training programs, we also offer workshops and spiritual retreats, giving students opportunities to explore meditation, sound healing, Ayurveda, and other aspects of traditional Indian wisdom.
