Enquiries on Facebook and Instagram Coming soon
Messages to your Facebook Page and Instagram account will arrive in the same Inbox as WhatsApp and email. It is built, and waits for Meta to approve YogaTribex's app.

Not switched on yet
Meta reviews an app before it may handle messages for other businesses. Until it approves YogaTribex's app, messages from the public do not reach your Inbox.
For now, answer Facebook and Instagram messages in Meta's own apps.
What it will do
Once it is on, these messages work much like WhatsApp in your Inbox.
- Messages to your Facebook Page arrive on a Messenger tab, and Instagram direct messages on an Instagram tab.
- Someone new becomes a New enquiry, with Facebook Messenger or Instagram as its source, ready to claim.
- Your team replies from the Inbox, and the reply goes out from your Page or your Instagram account.
- You can reply for 24 hours after their last message. These channels have no templates, so after that you wait for them to write.
- If they enquired before, you link the chat to their earlier enquiry.
- Meta shares no phone number or email for these contacts. A payment link goes by email, so you add their email first, or link an enquiry that has one.
Everyone who can read the Inbox is told in the bell when a message arrives.
What you can prepare now
Most of the setup happens in Meta's own apps, and you can do it today.
Step 1: Use a professional Instagram account
Your Instagram must be a Business or Creator account. Using only Facebook? Skip to the last step.
Step 2: Link Instagram to your Page
Link it to the Facebook Page your school uses, under the Page's settings › Linked accounts, or in Meta Business Suite.
Step 3: Turn on message access
Open the Instagram phone app, signed in as your school. Go to Profile ☰ › Settings and activity › Messages and story replies › Message controls › Connected tools. Turn on Allow access to messages.
- This setting is in the phone app only, not on the Instagram website.
- Some versions of the app keep it under Settings › Privacy › Messages instead.
Step 4: Choose who will connect
Connecting needs a Facebook account that can manage messages on your school's Page. Decide whose it will be.
Without message access, Facebook messages would arrive but Instagram messages never would.
When it is switched on
You will connect under Setup › Facebook & Instagram, which appears when your plan includes Facebook & Instagram. The Owner and the Config Manager can open it.
There you click Connect with Facebook, sign in, choose your school's Page and allow every permission Meta asks for. Linked accounts then shows your Page and Instagram account.
Until Meta approves the app, Connect with Facebook works only for accounts Meta has permitted, so it may refuse yours.
When it is switched on, YogaTribex will post the news under Announcements in your menu, and this page will lose its Coming soon label.
