Where the money goes
Every payment goes straight into your own account, under your own agreement with the provider. YogaTribex keeps a record of each payment, never the money.
Student pays
Card, UPI, netbanking or bank transfer.
Your gateway or bank
Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, your bank or your UPI.
Your account
No commission, and nothing held in between.
There is no commission on your bookings, so there is no payout to wait for.
Everything here is on Setup › Payment settings. By default only the owner can open it, because it holds your keys.
Connect a gateway
Connect as many gateways as you use. A school in India might take rupees through Razorpay and cards from abroad through Stripe.
| Gateway | What students use | Currencies | Keys to paste |
|---|---|---|---|
| Razorpay | Card, UPI or netbanking | Indian rupees only | Key ID and Key secret |
| PayU | Card, UPI or netbanking | Indian rupees only | Merchant key and Merchant salt |
| Stripe | International card | Whatever your Stripe account accepts | Publishable key and Secret key |
Step 1: Open the gateway's panel
Open Setup › Payment settings. Under Your gateways, click Razorpay, PayU or Stripe to open its panel.
Step 2: Paste your keys
Copy the keys from your account with the provider and paste them in. A saved secret is never shown again; leave it blank to keep it.
Step 3: Save
Click Save payment settings at the foot of the page. The gateway shows Connected once all its keys are saved.
To stop using a gateway, open its panel and click its disconnect link, for example Disconnect Razorpay.
Add bank transfer and UPI
Step 1: Add your bank details
Under Bank transfer, tick Show bank transfer on my payment page and fill in the account.
- Account holder, Bank name, Account number and Account type
- IFSC code and Branch
- SWIFT code, for anybody paying from outside India
Step 2: Add UPI
Under UPI, tick Show UPI on my payment page. Type your UPI ID and add a QR code, such as your GPay, PhonePe or Paytm QR.
Step 3: Write your terms
Under Payment guidelines, say whether the advance is refundable, when the balance is due, and what paying by card costs.
Step 4: Save everything
Click Save payment settings. One save covers the whole page.
What students see
Turning on bank transfer or UPI adds a Payment tab to your mini-website. Its Payment page shows your bank details and UPI, each with a Copy button, and your Payment guidelines.
When you ask a student to pay an amount, they get a link to a payment page for it. That page offers every gateway you connected that takes its currency, as well as bank transfer and UPI.
A student who pays by bank or UPI clicks I have paid by bank transfer or I have paid by UPI. Only your school can confirm that the money arrived.
See Payments for asking a student to pay and confirming a transfer.
