Claiming leads from the lead pool

The lead pool holds students who asked YogaTribex for help, offered to schools in the country they want. The first schools to claim one get the student's name, email and phone.

Leads are not enquiries

In YogaTribex the two words mean different things. An enquiry is someone who contacted your school. A lead is a student YogaTribex offers to several schools at once.

Most leads come from the Expert Consultant and Contact Us forms on yogatribex.com. YogaTribex staff can also add one by hand, or pass on an enquiry another school received. Your own enquiries are never offered back to you.

Where new leads appear

A lead appears once the YogaTribex team approves it for your country. You see it in three places.

  • Leads › New Leads, the full list, newest first.
  • A New lead from YogaTribex popup on your dashboard. The dashboard checks for new leads every minute while it is open.
  • The sparkle button beside the bell, Latest lead from YogaTribex. A dot on it means a lead you have not looked at yet.

The popup and the sparkle button are for people who can claim: owners and sales staff, by default. A Viewer sees the list, with View only in place of Claim.

These screens need the Sales pipeline feature in your school's plan.

What a card shows before you claim

A card tells you what the student wants, not who they are.

  • The course they asked about, as the title, with New if it was offered in the last day.
  • Their first name, as in "From Priya", and whether they left a phone number.
  • The place they asked for, when they asked, and their month and room if they gave them.
  • Their answers from the form, and Open until a date if the lead has one.
  • How many places left: how many more schools can still claim it.

Their surname, email address and phone number stay hidden until you claim.

When the places run out, the lead leaves the list. Claim too late and you see "That lead is no longer open to claim — it may have reached its limit."

In the popup, the same news is headed Just missed it, and the popup offers the next lead if there is one.

Claim a lead

  1. Step 1: Open the lead

Open Leads › New Leads, or the popup on your dashboard.

  2. Step 2: Claim it

Click Claim on the card. In the popup, click Claim the lead now.

  3. Step 3: Open the student

From New Leads, the student's page opens. From the popup, My Leads opens; click View on the student.

The student is now yours, in Leads › My Leads:

  • Assigned to you, with the source YogaTribex.
  • With their full name, email and phone.
  • With their answers under From the form on their page.

A YogaTribex lead does not use up a salesperson's five claims a day. The owner can hand it to a colleague from My Leads; see Assigning enquiries.

Contact the student

Claiming sends the student nothing, so you write first. Open their page and look under Conversations.

  • YogaTribex chat: click Start chat. The student reads it under Messages in their YogaTribex account.
  • Email: click Open in Inbox and write to them there.
  • WhatsApp, if you have connected it: the first message must be a template Meta has approved.
  • Or call the phone number on their page.

Until a school starts a chat, the student sees their request as Under review under Messages. Writing and replying are explained in Inbox replies.
