Certificates & reviews
When a student completes their course, you issue a certificate on your own design, and anyone can check online that it is genuine. The student can then review the course, and you can reply in public.

Set up your certificate design
Upload the certificate you already use, and place the student's details on it. You do this once, before your first certificate.
Step 1: Open the settings
Open Setup › Certificates and click Certificate settings.
Step 2: Name the design
Type a name under Name this design, such as "Our 200-hour certificate", and click Create it.
Step 3: Upload the image
Click Upload the certificate and choose your certificate as a PNG or JPEG.
Step 4: Place the details
Click a value to add it, such as + Student name, then drag its label to where it should print.
- Add Student name at least, then Course name, Completion date and Certificate number as you need them.
- Click a placed value to set its Text size, Alignment, Weight and Colour.
Step 5: Add a signature
Under Signature, click Upload a scan, or click Draw it, sign, and click Use this signature. Then add and place Signature like the other values.
Step 6: Check and save
Click Preview to see it drawn as it will print, then click Save changes.
Each certificate is drawn when you issue it, so a later change to the design leaves issued certificates as they were.
Issue a certificate
A certificate needs the student's booking to be Completed, so mark them completed first. See Enrolment statuses.
Step 1: Open the student
Open their page from Enquiry Management › Students or Enrolled Students, and click Issue certificate under Quick actions.
Step 2: Check the name
Name on the certificate starts with the name they enrolled under. Correct it if needed, because it is fixed once issued.
Step 3: Issue it
Click Issue it. A Certificate issued card shows its number on the student's page.
You can also click Issue a certificate on Setup › Certificates, which offers only completed students who do not hold one.
The register there lists each certificate's Number, Student, Course and Issued date, how often it was Checked, and its Status: Valid, Withdrawn or Replaced.
- Replace issues a corrected one, for example with the name spelled right. The old number still answers, marked as replaced.
- Withdraw cancels it, with a reason the student sees in their portal. Its number then answers as no longer valid.
What the student sees
The certificate appears under Certificate in their portal: a Certificate of completion with their name, the course, your school, the date and its number. Let them know it is ready.
Step 1: Write the review
Under Your certificate, the student clicks Write your review. The file comes after the review.
Step 2: Download it
Back on Certificate, they click Download PDF.
Step 3: Share the proof
Under Proving it, Copy link copies the certificate's check page, and Check it opens it.
Anyone can check it
Each certificate has a public check page at yogatribex.com/verify/ followed by its number. An employer or another school needs no account to open it.
- This certificate is genuine, with who it was issued to, the course, your school and its dates.
- This certificate is no longer valid, when you withdrew or replaced it, saying which.
- No certificate with that number, when the number is wrong.
Every check is counted in the register's Checked column.
Reviews from students
Only a student whose booking is Completed can review the course, once, under Review in their portal. Nobody else can leave one.
Step 1: Rate the course
Under How was it?, the student gives one to five stars, from Poor to Excellent.
Step 2: Write it
They add A short headline (optional) and What was it like?, which needs at least twenty characters.
Step 3: Publish it
They click Publish my review, then Yes, publish it. It cannot be changed afterwards.
It is published at once, under their name, on the course's page and the Reviews tab of your mini-website.
A review of two stars or fewer also opens a complaint under Operations › Complaints, so your team can follow it up.
